Advaita’s thesis is derived from the leading research and frontier labs from the scientists, engineers, and investors who are bringing forth these technologies themselves. Within deep tech, Advaita invests in four verticals that synergize to represent the foundation of the re-industrialization that is currently under development: AI/ML, semiconductors, robotics, and energy.

As machines become readily available and widely adopted, the majority of their value will be dictated by the individuals who use them, not the companies that make them.

The interest for and value generated by these niche STEM-oriented use cases will be squeezed by a growing interest from the average person with no technical background to use AI in their daily lives, and they won’t be satisfied with a smart application that tells them factoids about some niche scientific field, or a tutor that can teach them advanced math at a rapid pace.

Neuromorphic thesis
Intelligence tied only to text has limits. Systems that integrate vision, audio, and physical interaction with the world (robotics) may unlock a different kind of understanding — one grounded in cause-and-effect rather than pattern-matching over text.
Today's dominant architecture (transformers) is a local maximum, not the endpoint, and that ideas from biological brains (sparsity, continual learning, energy efficiency) could produce a genuinely different — not just bigger — kind of intelligence.
Every era of computing has been defined by a substrate — vacuum tubes, then silicon transistors, then GPUs built to do one thing extraordinarily well: multiply matrices, faster and faster, forever. That substrate gave us the current age of intelligence. But It was built only for arithmetic.
Intelligence, at scale, will eventually have to stop pretending it is math and start admitting it is closer to biology — sparse, asynchronous, event-driven, forgetting what doesn't matter so it can remember what does. Somewhere between now and the next decade, the cost of ignoring that will exceed the cost of rebuilding around it. And whoever owns the substrate that intelligence eventually runs on not the model, not the app, but the physics underneath it owns something closer to bedrock than product.
The shape of neurons that fire only when they have something to say, instead of chips that compute everything, always, whether it matters or not. The shape of memory and computation living in the same place, instead of shouting data back and forth across a bus. The shape of systems that learn continuously instead of freezing the moment training ends.
History is patient with ideas like this. Steam power outlived its skeptics. So did the transistor, the internet, the electric motor each dismissed as a toy solving a problem nobody urgently had, until the day the old substrate hit a wall it couldn't climb, and the new one was quietly, already, waiting.
The people building this today are not chasing this quarter's earnings call. They are laying pipe for a pressure that hasn't arrived yet — the moment intelligence becomes so ubiquitous, so embedded in devices with batteries and thermal limits and no cloud to lean on, that brute-force computation simply cannot follow it there. Drones that must think without a data center. Sensors that must notice without waking up. Prosthetics that must feel, not just calculate.
That is where this thesis lives — not in what the market values today, but in what becomes unavoidable the moment intelligence has to run somewhere the old substrate can't reach.

Money has always been a proxy. A clever one — portable, divisible, trusted — but a proxy nonetheless, standing in for the thing that actually matters: the ability to make something happen in the physical world.That arithmetic is coming back. Not because money is failing, but because the thing it was hiding — the raw cost of turning intention into reality — is about to become the only cost that matters again.
As intelligence gets cheap and labor becomes optional, the constraint on what gets built stops being "can we afford it" and starts being "do we have the watts." Compute is already outrunning power. Chips are being fabricated faster than substations can be built to run them. The bottleneck of this era isn't silicon anymore — it's the grid, the reactor, the solar field, the transmission line. Whoever controls the generation controls what gets to exist.
Products stop being engineered around scarcity of computation and start being engineered around scarcity of joules. A robot isn't optimized to think efficiently — it's optimized to move, sense, and act on as little power as a muscle does, because the thinking is nearly free and the doing is not. A data center isn't built where the fiber is cheapest — it's built where the sun never sets, or where a reactor already hums, because moving electrons is now more expensive than moving bits. Even the sky stops being off-limits. Push the logic far enough and the constraint isn't Earth's surface at all — it's the fraction of the sun's output humanity has bothered to capture.
"Energy as currency" isn't really a metaphor waiting to happen — it's the oldest fact in economics, briefly obscured by a few centuries of paper. What's new isn't the idea. It's the moment: the first time in human history when the thing standing between an idea and its existence isn't money, or even intelligence, but simply — is there enough power to turn it on.
